What should I wear to a Yoga class ?
Wear comfortable and breathable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as leggings or yoga pants and a fitted top. Avoid loose or baggy clothing that can get in the way of your practice.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat ?
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but we also have yoga mats inside the temple which are free to use.
Is yoga a good way to lose weight ?
Yoga can be an effective way to support weight loss, as it can help to increase metabolism, build muscle, and reduce stress and emotional eating. However it is important to remember that weight loss results from a combination of diet and exercise.
What should I eat before a yoga class, and how long before ?
It is recommended to avoid eating a heavy meal at least 2-3 hours before a yoga class. Instead, have a light snack or meal that is easy to digest, such as a piece of fruit, a smoothie, or a small portion of nuts and seeds. It is also important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after the class. Avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol before a class, as they can dehydrate you and affect your practice.
Can begginers attend the yoga classes ?
Yes, we welcome beginners to our classes. Our instructors provide modifications and variations to accomodate diffent levels and abilities.
